How to add My Computer ,My Documents ,Internet Explorer icons to desktop
To add the actual icons and not shortcuts to the Windows XP desktop do the following. Right-click on any open space on the desktop and choose properties to open the display properties window. Now choose the Desktop tab and then the Customize tab on that page ,select the icons you want displayed and click on OK.
