When pressing some letter keys on a laptop keyboard you might get numbers or other symbols instead of the correct letter. To fix this make sure that the FN key or Num Lock key is not activated (light must be off) This should fix the problem.

Thank u sooooo much it sorted my problem immediately i had this problem for something close to 2 months and couldnt find help from any body,,,,,,,much much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, what happens if that doesn't fix the problem though? My friend has done that and some other fixes and she still gets 0's everytime she presses the spacebar. Is there anything else we can try to fix thhe problem?
I assume this is a laptop you are talking about, does this happen in every application? Any other keys with this problem? Make sure your friend doesn't have some key remap program running in the backround.
